On Mount Chortiatis, above Zagliveri, is the traditional village of Petrokerasa.
An ancient sacred custom is repeated every year on 16-18 April in Petrokerasa and gives the opportunity to those who come to the Holy Church of Prophet Elias of the village to embrace the Holy Wood, which for ten centuries has been the greatest relic of the Holy Monastery of Xiropotamos on Mount Athos.

The church of the village is dedicated to Prophet Elias and was built in 1810. There are also the chapels of Virgin Mary, Agios Athanasios, Agia Triada, Agios Christoforos and Agios Georgios.
